‘Although I love painting the beautiful coastline and beaches in the South West it’s sometimes a good thing to take a break and try something a little different. I really love abstract work and I have always had a hankering to create landscapes with more of an abstract feel……so here’s my latest attempt. There are many many layers involved with this one and it’s a thoroughly different colour scheme to my usual cool palette of blues and greens & painted on 30 x 30cm canvas panel - I’ve enjoyed it so much!’ - Lucy Davies
